Apollo Finance, developed during HackUTD IX, offers a user-friendly web platform for investment
decision-making. Our team addressed a prompt from Capital One and Goldman Sachs, focusing on
risk
analysis. Utilizing advanced algorithms, Apollo computes beta
values and expected returns for
stocks, tailoring recommendations based on user risk preferences collected through a
survey. By
integrating real-time market data, Apollo delivers concise investment advice, considering
factors like volatility and market performance.
Though we didn't win, the hackathon taught us invaluable
lessons in teamwork, innovation, and resilience. Building Apollo
within tight constraints
highlighted the importance of collaboration and perseverance, enriching our technical
skills and
reinforcing the value of determination
